What Communist China ideology boils down to is maintaining the dictatorship of the state by any means necessary.
What has been described as “flexibility” is really just an ideology without principles except the “principle”—if you could call it that—of the hegemony of the Communist Party.
The end is the overarching dominion of the Party, by any and all means necessary, so that the means in the final analysis is bereft of moral principles, while the end is the Golden Calf of the totalitarian state.
In sum, Chinese
politics is unprincipled and as a consequence barbaric, inhuman, and genocidal. See:

The great struggles today that shed copious blood are about democracy versus authoritarianism, the world leaders of the latter being the formerly old-style Communist states of Russia and China.
